The film delves into the complex dynamic between the two spanning over 20 years, from Presley's rise to fame to his unprecedented stardom, against the backdrop of the evolving cultural landscape and loss of innocence in America. Elvis is an operatic creation with a larger-than-life subject. The film explores Elvis Presley's highs and lows and the many challenges and controversies he faced throughout his career. It's all anchored by a stunning lead performance from Austin Butler, who breathes new life into Elvis. Colonel Parker is played by Tom Hanks.
