A survivor of Auschwitz returns to explore his past and unlocks a secret. “How Saba Kept Singing” is a story of survival. The movie tells the story of how a Polish Jewish teenager David Wisnia survived nearly three years in Auschwitz, helped in part by his operatic singing voice. Very soon there will be no living witnesses to the hellish experience of the death camps. This incontrovertible fact lends a sense of urgency and poignancy to the firsthand accounts of how survivors managed to endure the camps and then move on. One of many touching moments in this movie comes via a conversation between David and his loving grandson as David tells him that he is living proof that Hitler didn’t win. An uplifting and poignant experience. Please RSVP to reserve your chair by emailing Sandy Feldman (
