William Penn knew what he wanted. “A country life and estate I like best for my children.” By the spring of 1683, construction was underway on Penn’s home in the country. Today, Pennsbury Manor, his recreated 17th century estate, sits on 43 picturesque acres along the Delaware River. During our guided tour, learn more about one of America’s most famous Quakers as we tour the Manor, Kitchen and Gardens. The tour begins at 2:00 and will last approximately 1 1/2 hours. If you would like to carpool, please meet in the Clubhouse parking lot by 1:15. Travel time is approximately a half hour. The cost is $10 per person. Please make checks payable to Wendie Lapidus and deposit in the Quest mailbox in the Clubhouse before April 17, 2023. Questions? Contact Wendie Lapidus, 609-658-3710.
