The RMS Titanic set sail on its maiden voyage from Southampton, England on April 10,1912 with 2,224 passengers and crew aboard. The Titanic was the largest ship afloat at the time. On April 14,1912, when the Titanic hit an iceberg and sank, 1,500 people perished, but however, we have a survivor visiting Traditions. Please join us for a Titanic event with fictional survivor Eliza Blackwell Dupree. She will tell you all about that tragic night, debunk some popular myths and allow you to feel like you were really there. There is a $10 per person charge for this presentation. Please make your check payable to “Jeanne Navratil”, put it in an envelope labeled TITANIC, and place it in the Clubhouse QUEST mailbox NO LATER THAN Sunday, April 14th.
